We were glad to have John Maccormack , Tim Oconnor , Kevin Tague, Brian Sullivan, Kevin Patterson and Uncle Jack Shute aboard the Jersey Hooker to live-line for some Trophy Stripers .... Day Started off Excellent within 30 seconds of fishing First Mate Nick Graciano was teaching the boys the proper way to snag and live-line bunkers and smash a nice 30 pounder crashes the bunker Nick had snagged.... The crew made baits while some of the others were live-line-ing some bunkers. We made about  30 bait and we head off to 60' of water where the fleet had them on Wednesday we made a couple drifts on some makes and only had one run-off and a couple bluefish bites ... a thick thick fog was blown in from the south east and we were left with 0 viz @ times we got up on the troll after about  an hour or so our second striper hit the deck ....  fishing was  slow ....  I was talking with other charter captains who did not do so well ..... we pulled the spoons in a steamed north in pea soup .... I felt like i was playing the game battle ship with all of the other boats out there but im very comfortable with my radar skills and the the skills of the other captains in the striper fleet ...  We had a few run offs in the fleet made a couple drifts. @ this poin we were going into over time but I promised my guys a limit catch and that is what i did for them. I decided to head west into shallow water found some bunkers that were stacked up made some baits... Then all hell broke loose  2 - 5 fish hooked up each drift  25-35 pounds .....  after the 4th drift the bunker scattered and we headed south toward home got on another school of bunks stacked up and  we were in the bass 3 drifts and 4 fish hooked up on every drift ...Â
The guys brought their 12 fish home largest was 35 pounds .
It was a fair day of fishing I thank my charter for the business ...
